A strategic parnership between twelve leading businesses and the Region of Waterloo, Ontario culminated with the launch of one of the world's newest Transportation Management Associations-- TravelWise. 

On January 17th,  John Hill -- Principal Planner for Region of Waterloo--  cut the proverbial ribbon on this innovative commuter program at a launch event which brought together nearly 100 community and business leaders.

UrbanTrans has the pleasure to manage the Smart Commute Brampton Caledon (www.scbc.ca) program dedicated towards creating sustainable transportation behavior. Our staff were proud to recently present Nestle Canada with the 2011 Smart Commute Employer of the Year award.  In just a year and half, Nestlé's facility of just 228 staff were able to save over $50,000 in commuter savings and prevented over 18,000 kg of greenhouse gas emissions.
