A Senior Program Specialist and experienced planner and political strategist, Nick Miller is energized by a world full of possibilities. It’s not just about thinking of “what can be.” He strives to put ideas into action for meaningful, positive impact on his communities.

Nick firmly believes that making urban planning concepts understandable and relatable is a critical step in cultivating community support and ultimately positively impact the people that these policies and plans serve. 

Nick honed his passions for economic growth and public policy through his studies at Furman University, where he studied Political Science and Urban Studies. He also attended Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, where he earned hisMaster of Public Policy with a concentration in Urban Planning and Economic Development. 

In his professional career, Nick has excelled in urban planning roles at Sizemore Group and the Atlanta Regional Commission. He has also managed political campaigns across the state of Georgia, gaining a unique perspective on broader political dynamics.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys watching the New York Jets, exploring new cities, and embarking on a never-ending quest to find Atlanta’s best cheeseburger.

Jordyn is a Senior Planner with UrbanTrans’ Community and Stakeholder Engagement (CSE) Practice. With just over five years of experience in planning, Jordyn is driven to promote equitable outcomes for underserved communities in her work. While that is no light task, Jordyn expertly navigates the complexities of equitable planning and policies through a steady approach to community and stakeholder involvement. This is paired with an unmatched savvy for making connections between ideas and between people.

Jordyn has managed engagement initiatives for transportation projects ranging from federal and state compliant processes to community-led initiatives. She’s skilled in leveraging partnerships and coordinating across various organizations to meet goals and facilitate change that aligns with targeted objectives. 

Jordyn’s academic accomplishments include a degree in public policy and a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in Planning and Economic Development from Georgia State University.  

When she’s not working, Jordyn loves to unwind with her fiancé Kris and her dog Trap. She’s an avid reader who devours the latest science fiction and rom-coms, and enjoys binge-watching the hottest TV shows.

Equipped with a positive disposition and collaborative approach, Chloe is a rising star in the transportation demand management (TDM) industry.  Chloe’s strengths allow her to seamlessly connect with a diverse set of stakeholders to promote sustainability, advance social impact, and build resilient communities.

As a Program Specialist, Chloe has been championing outreach plans for two Transportation Management Associations (TMAs) in the Denver metro area: Transportation Solutions and West Corridor TMA. Chloe’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in building partnerships that go a long way in addressing better transportation behaviors for all.

Prior to joining UrbanTrans, Chloe worked for Boulder County’s Mobility For All Program, which aims to promote multimodal transportation options for residents that are inclusive, accessible, and affordable. Chloe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and International Development and a minor in Global Studies from the University of Vermont. During her time in Vermont, she discovered a passion for participating in environmental advocacy, including participating in a campaign calling for a ban on plastic bag use.

In her free time, Chloe loves exploring all that Colorado has to offer, including hiking, skiing, kayaking, seeing live music, and film photography. She loves spending time outside and exploring new landscapes, whether within the city or in the mountains.

Watch out world: Alecia’s on a mission to revolutionize the way diverse communities think about daily commuting, and something tells us she’s bound to get the job done! As the Senior Marketing Specialist for UrbanTrans, Alecia is the marketing lead and creative project manager for some of our most dynamic projects, including Perimeter Connects, AERO and Iride Inglewood.

Alecia shines as a strategic marketer, master storyteller, and brand maestro. With these powers combined, she’s able to orchestrate resonant behavior change campaigns for diverse audiences. Beneath these talents empathetic instincts, Alecia has an eye for behavioral and cultural motivations. She’s established in her work a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equity to bring a fresh cultural edge to every project she touches. Her fresh perspective on travel behaviors and place-based marketing campaigns yields dynamic outcomes for our clients’ communities. These initiatives have earned her and her teams’ regional and national marketing awards within the travel and transportation industries.

Alecia brings a decade of experience in MarTech, travel, tourism, and hospitality. Her passion for helping others was cultivated during her time at the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, Chick-fil-A, and Georgia State University. And with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Professional Sales, it’s clear that she’s well-equipped to make a difference in the TDM field.

When she’s not busy changing the world, you can find Alecia indulging in her love of horseback riding, exploring new cultures and cuisines through international travel, or spending quality time with her adorable son and Aussidoodle.

Becky is driven to do good in this world. This value is at the heart of her character. It’s demonstrated through Becky’s daily commitment to the communities she serves. This drive inspires the entire UrbanTrans team. She lights up any room, not just with her cheerful spirit, but also with insightful contributions that advance our collective mission.

As a senior planner, Becky focuses on TDM policy projects that span both technical and implementation components. She is also passionate about multimodal travel safety for school audiences. Most recently, she led Move Minnesota’s Schools and Green Line projects to promote public transit use for student commuters.

Before coming to UrbanTrans, Becky led employer outreach and behavior change programs at Move Minneapolis and Saint Paul Smart Trips for five years, focusing on sustainable transportation programs and policies for employers within the Twin Cities.

Beyond her work with UrbanTrans, Becky also serves as commissioner for both the Minneapolis Park Board and Minneapolis Planning Commission.

Becky has a B.A. in Geography and International Development and a Master’s in GIS from Clark University. Becky speaks Spanish fluently and she previously worked in Madrid as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant. She also spent a year studying Transportation Systems at the Technical University of Munich. She won the Association for Commuter Transportation’s 40 under 40 award in 2018 and previously served as the Midwest Chapter’s President.

For over 10 years, Patrick’s been honing his marketing skills – starting from the ground up as a brand ambassador for an energy drink company in the Coca Cola family. Since then, he’s specialized as a digital marketer, and he loves what he does! When we first met Patrick, we walked away from an impressive  strategies, SEO, and marketing automation and you’ll find yourself in an impressively enjoyable conversation with him—and you’re likely to walk away with a greater understanding of marketing technology.

What makes digital marketing so exciting to Patrick is the constant challenge of staying relevant in a rapidly changing landscape. One solution might work today but not tomorrow, and he thrives on being able to craft strategies that showcase the best of what’s available.

But it’s not just the challenge that keeps Patrick interested. Digital marketing allows for huge storytelling opportunities, giving him the chance to showcase the passion and dedication of his colleagues and clients. Nothing gives him more fulfillment than knowing he helped people tell their story in a way that resonates with their audience.

Johann likes to introduce himself as a “transportation nerd.” It’s probably accurate–and in the best way. Johann is enthusiastic about new transportation technologies and legislation, and he offers unique insights into how these shifts can affect transportation landscape.

Johann has six years of professional experience in transportation demand management. As the Program Manager for the Perimeter Connects transportation management association, Johann directs program development and partner services for some of Atlanta’s most iconic employers, including State Farm, Mercedes-Benz, and Cox Enterprises. Under his leadership, Perimeter Connects developed a relational database to bring better analytics into the fold of service delivery, evaluation, and planning.

Johann completed his doctoral studies in public policy at Georgia Tech with a focus on transportation and the environment. He has published peer-reviewed research in the journals Transportation Policy and Transportation Research: Policy and Practice. Johann is also a member of the 2020 class of the Association for Commuter Transportation’s ACT ImpACT! Leadership program.

Johann is an avid mountain biker and spends his time away from Atlanta hiking and camping with his wife, son, and daughter. He also has a beloved dog Gus who can sometimes be found in the UrbanTrans office following everyone around.
